Swell at Cape Bridgewater

Swell at Cape Bridgewater is a holiday park tucked away near the coast, offering a mix of cabins and powered sites. It’s a good base if you want to check out the nearby petrified forest and blowholes without camping out in the elements.

The park has basic facilities – a camp kitchen, toilets, showers – nothing flash but tidy enough. It’s quiet for the most part, though it can fill up in peak times so booking ahead is a good idea if you’re coming mid-summer.

Location-wise, you’re about 20 minutes from Portland and a couple of hours from Warrnambool. Keep in mind the road in is gravel for the last stretch, so take it easy if you’re towing a van.
