Figtree Holiday Village

Figtree Holiday Village is a no-frills spot in Warrnambool that caters to caravans, campers and cabins. The place is straightforward, with powered sites and basic facilities – nothing flash, but it does the job if you’re passing through or here for a few days.

It’s close to the city centre, so you’re not stuck out in the sticks, but expect the usual holiday park hustle during school holidays. The site can get busy, so booking ahead is a good idea. There’s a camp kitchen and amenities block, nothing to write home about but functional.

If you’re after a cheap-ish base while checking out the Shipwreck Coast or the local pubs, Figtree fits the bill without any pretense. Just don’t expect a resort-style experience.
