Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park

Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park is a basic caravan and camping spot just outside the town of Kuranda. It’s got powered and unpowered sites for caravans and tents, plus a few cabins if you’re not keen on roughing it. The park sits on the edge of the rainforest, so you’ll get plenty of bird noise and the usual tropical humidity.

Facilities are pretty standard – showers, toilets, a camp kitchen, and a dump point. It’s not flash but it’s functional, and a good base if you want to explore Kuranda’s markets, wildlife parks, and the nearby Barron Gorge. Note that bookings are by request, so you’ll want to get in early during peak times.
