Flying Fish Point Tourist Park

Flying Fish Point Tourist Park is a straightforward spot just north of Cairns. It’s a well-established caravan and camping park with powered and unpowered sites, plus cabins if you want to leave the tent at home. It’s quiet enough given its size, and close to the beach if you don’t mind a short walk.

The facilities include a camp kitchen and clean amenities, nothing fancy but they do the job. It’s a decent base if you want to explore the nearby reefs or head into Cairns without dealing with city prices or crowds.
