Mystery bay

Mystery Bay is a modest holiday park tucked on the NSW south coast, about 7km from Narooma. The spot is popular for fishing and beachcombing, and it’s one of the few places around here where you can camp close to the water without too many crowds. The sites are a mix of powered and unpowered, with basic amenities that do the job but don’t expect anything flash.

Booking is by request rather than instant, so you’ll want to get in early during peak times. The roads in are sealed but a bit narrow, and it’s a decent drive from bigger towns if you need supplies, so plan accordingly. There’s a small shop nearby but don’t bank on it for much beyond essentials.
